It's perfect for the Epson printer it's designed for. I don't think this ink requires any comments. Its genuine from Epson, period. I don't have a problem using third-party inks on my cheap everyday printers. But for professional quality jobs on a pretty expensive (at least when we bought it a few years ago) Epson Photo R1800 -- genuine ink is the only way to go.
It leaves one feeling wonderfully. This ink cartridge is amazing. I have never had an ink cartridge change my life in so many ways. IT as if angels themselves came down in this ink cartridge. Not only does it allow my printer to print but it prints an amazing baby blue. I recommend this ink cartridge to anyone who needs to print. I sincerely hope you buy one even if you don't have a printer. It will change your life.
I continue to be amazed at the quality of these Epson inks. Their archival/long-life qualities are very impressive.
I buy my Epson ink cartridges from Amazon.com because they have the lowest available price for genuine Epson cartridges and if you make sure you are buying from Amozon.com and not a sub-supplier, you can always get free freight. If you do serious work and serious volume, genuine Epson ink is the ONLY way to go unless you want constant problems and headaches.
It is important to me that my prints are of high quality, so I don't attempt to use the cheaper compatible ink cartridges. When it comes to ink for my R1800 photo printer, I am concerned with the quality of the images I print. The Epson cyan UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink cartridge provides superior resistance to water, fading and smudging. The color can be duplicated, but all inks are not created equal.
